Abstract

Un análogo de insulina monocatenario comprende: una secuencia polipeptídica de insulina de cadena B conectada a una secuencia polipeptídica de insulina de cadena A por una secuencia polipeptídica de dominio C. El análogo reivindicado mitiga la actividad desfavorable del cuarto puente disulfuro en análogos de insulina de dos cadenas, resultando en una duración de la señalización de la insulina similar a la de la insulina tipo salvaje. El uso del análogo de la presente invención en un dispositivo de administración de insulina (bomba o bolígrafo) o como parte de un proceso de fabricación de fusión de polímero a alta temperatura.
