Abstract

Método para controlar la vegetación no deseada en un sitio de cultivo vegetal; que consiste en proporcionar, en el sitio, una planta que una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una HPPD de tipo silvestre o una HPPD mutada (mut-HPPD) resistente o tolerante a un herbicida inhibidor de HPPD y/o una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una HST de tipo silvestre o una HST mutada (mut-HST), que es resistente o tolerante a un herbicida inhibidor de HPPD, y aplicar una cantidad eficaz del herbicida. Se divulgan plantas que comprenden mut-HPPD y a métodos para obtener dichas plantas.
