Abstract

Un procedimiento para producir 2-alquil-3-aroil-5-nitrobenzofuranos por acilación de 2-(2-hidroxi-5-nitrofenil)-1-aril-etanonas y posterior tratamiento de los ésteres con combinaciones de bases y ácidos próticos o ácidos de Lewis. Este procedimiento se puede usar para la producción de Dronedarona. Además, se proporcionan nuevos productos intermedios para la fabricación de Dronedarona.
