Abstract
Método para reforzar o restaurar la resistencia a sustratos de óxido frágil, que incluye los pasos de: a- recubrir el sustrato de óxido frágil con una solución acuosa que contiene un compuesto con base de silano, en ausencia sustancial de algún disolvente orgánico, en la cual, el compuesto con base de silano, al ser hidrolizado en la solución acuosa tiene fórmula (OH)3SiR'' donde R'' es un grupo organofuncinal, como glicidoxipropil, 2-(3,4epoxiciclohexil)etilo, 3,3-dimetoxipropil, entre otros; b- curar el recubrimiento para formar una capa transparente sobre el sustrato de oxido frágil, en la cual R'' en el compuesto a base de silano, fue elegido de modo que: 1- la resistencia al sustrato de óxido frágil, que tiene el recubrimiento curado, sea mejorada sustancialmente en comparación con la sustancia de óxido frágil, antes del paso del recubrimiento, y 2- el recubrimiento curado no interfiere con la marcabilidad del sustrato de óxido frágil.
