Specification forming part of Design No. 9, 183, dai-ted April 4, 1876; application filed Marel [Term of Patent 14 years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HENRY BREHMER, of Stapleton, county of Richmond and State of New York, have originated and desgneia new Design for a Font of' Printing-Types, of which the followingiis a specification The nature of my 'design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographie impression to which reference is made; and consists ofcapitals, points, and tigures of a grotesque Roman form, with the bod y marks very light, expanding at the cap and base intovery heavy cen iphs or cross-lines, a few of the letters being correspondingly enlarged in other portions. Some of the letters have a portion which usually ends in. a point 0r in abrupt connection with some other portion, carried forward HENRY BREHW Witnesses:
