PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR. AN OPHTHALMIC MOUNTING Application February 5, 1934, Serial No. 50,615
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Henry J. Langknecht, a citizen of the United Statesv of America, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Ophthalmic Mounting, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a top plan of an ophthalmic mounting showing my new design.
Figures 2 and 3 are respectively enlarged inner and outer face views of adjacent portions of the temple bar and end piece shown in Figure 1.
Figure 4 is a. perspective view of the parts shown in Figures 2 and 3.
The characteristic features of the design are the curving of the forward end of the temple bar around the hinge in concentric relation thereto and the rearward curving of the end piece so that the outer surfaces of the temple bar and end piece are eccentrically curved and form a concavity at their junction, as best illustrated in Figures 1 and 4, together with the stream-lined side appearance of the upper and lower surfaces of said temple bar and end piece, as best illustrated in Figures 2 and 3.
I claim:
The ornamental design for an ophthalmic mounting as shown and described.
HENRY J. LANGKNECHT.
