Be it known that I, JOSEPH 1". SMITH, of \Vaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Buckle; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said droning constitutes part of this specification, and represents a front View.

This invention relates to a design for belt buckle; and consists in the configuration and ornamentation, as shown in the accompanying illustration, and as hereinafter described.

The buckle is of elliptical form, with a nan row edge surrounding it. On the center is a medallion of a female head, in outline eorrespending to the form of the plate, and between the medallion and the edge is a plain surface.

I claim as my invention- The design for buckle, as herein described and shown in the accompanyingillustration.
