A central portion of FIG. 3, including concentric circle elements and elements immediately surrounding the concentric circle elements, is a mirror image of the corresponding portion shown in FIGS. 4 and 7, including with respect to the depths and contours of the illustrated elements.
The illustrated force gauge is a digital device that has a tip screw axis for attachment to another device. The digital device measures tension and compression. It can be used by hand, and it can be used as an uncomplicated testing machine in combination with a test stand. A measured value is stored in the digital device and/or in an external device, such as a USB flash memory device. The digital device may be connected to a personal computer, such as by a USB cable, whereby high speed transmission of the measured value can be carried out in real time.
The broken line showing of portions of the force gauge throughout the drawings is for the purpose of illustrating environmental structure and forms no part of the claimed design.
