DESIGN FOR HAT AND COAT HOOK.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,694, dated June 3, 1873; application filed May 20, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I. ALBERT D. JUDD, of New Haven, in the State of Connecticut, have invented a Design for a Hat-Hook, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of the said design is fully represented in the accompanying perspective View.

The plate a is made with four rectangular projecting ornaments, in which are the screwholes. The surface is recessed or countersunk, leaving the scroll and leaf ornaments b, as shown. The stem of the hook is tinted at c with leaf ornaments d, band 6, and end ornaments f where the same joins to the bands 9, forming the base of a bust h, and beneath g is the drop ornament h. Between the base of the stem and the plate a there are bracing leaf ornaments branching backwardly from the ring k, and the ends of the leaves I are curved so as to rest against the angles n of the plate a.

I claim as my invention- 1. The design of the shape and ornamentation of the plate a, as represented.

2. The design of the shape and ornamentation of the stem 0 (1 cf, as represented.

3. The design of the bust h, bands 9, and drop h, as represented.

4. The design of the bracing leaf ornaments k, I, as represented.
