Beit known that I, VILLARD O.'CAPRoN,of the city, county, and State of NenT York, have invented a vnewr and original Design for Ladies Dress-Combs; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which Will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the saine, reference being f had to'the accompanying drawing forming part of this speciiication. Figure l is a rear view of a ladies7 dress-comb showing my improved design. Fig. 2 is a side or edge view oi' the same.

My invention has for its object to furnish an improved design for ladies7 dresscombs, which shall be neat and simple, and at the saine time highly ornamental; and it consists rin the design erein shown and described.

A represents an ordinary comb, to the top of which is hinged a small plate, B, Which is made triangular in its general form, and the edges of Which are scalloped, as shown in Figs. l and 2. To the rear or outer side ofthe plate Bis secured a flange or lug, C, having holes formed through it, into which are sprung the ends of the open rings D.
