Specification forming part of Design No. 5,545, dated February 20, 1872.

Be it known that I, VIRGIL DEAPER,of North Attleborough, in the county oi'A Bristol and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and Improved Design for Cross-Bar for Ornamental Chain; and I hereby declare that the following specification, taken in connection with the drawings making a part of the Same, xis a full, clear, and exact description thereof.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The new design for a cross-bar for ornamental chains, which consists in forming the bar A with a three-member llet, a, placed midway between the ends of the bar, substantially as described and Shown in the drawings.
