Description

A visually stimulating ornamental design for a flagpole with a built-in solar lighting system to properly light a flag up at night. The pole would enable a user to conveniently and attractively illuminate a flag at night so that the flag does not need to be lowered at night, such as is a United States custom. In one embodiment, the pole comprises of a clear or opaque plastic flagpole which houses lights that are powered by solar energy. The solar panels and their battery power source could be incorporated within the base, which rests atop brackets. The panels store energy from the sun's light through the day to illuminate the lights and flag at night in an attractive and cost effective manner.

The claimed subject matter can be utilized by a plurality of people. For example, homeowners, commercial, or governmental establishments would benefit from the flagpole. More people may be encouraged to display a flag and show their patriotism because of the added convenience the claimed subject matter offers.
