Description

D'EsIgN.
APPLICATION In; 111111111111 4.
46,973. Patented Feb. 16, 1915.
PERRY M. SHEPARD, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A SOAP-DISH.
Specification for Design.
Patented Feb. 16, 1915.
Application filed November 13, 1914. Serial No. 872,020. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, PERRY M. SHEPARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Soap Dishes, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
My invention relates to a design for a soap-dish for sinks of an attractive and pleasing appearance.
In the drawings: The drawing represents a perspective View of said soap-dish.
Referring to the drawings, it will be observed that the bowl of said soap-dish comprises a series of suitably separated longitudinally disposed wires with their ends correspondingly upturned; a series of suitably separated transverse wires with their end portions upturned in a similar manner; a
rectangular edge-frame also made of wire to which the extremities of the said upturned end portions of said longitudinal and transverse wires are secured, and wire bails at each end of the dish. These bails are U-shaped and the end portions are bent laterally away from each other a distance corresponding to about the width of the edge-frame of the dish and then parallel to each other for a short distance and their extremities are formed into eyes that encircle the ends of the longitudinal member of said edge-frame.
What I claim is:
The ornamental design for a soap-dish, as shown and described.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 21st day of October, 1914.
PERRY M. SHEPARD.
