DESIGN FOR A LAClNG-HOOK.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 33,108, dated August 21, 1900.
Application filed August 9, 1899. Serial No. 726,723. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Beit known that I, HARRISON H. EATON, a. bizen of theUnited States, residing at Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design in Lacing-Hooks, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a plan view of my new design in lacing.hooks. Fig. 2 is a plan elevation with the hook turned a quarter-way around to the right, and Fig. 3 is a plan elevation with the hook turned a quarter-way around to the left from an elevation corresponding to Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a bottom view looking into the tabular shank.
The design is distinguished by the several features shown, comprising a tubular shank a slightly tapered, an ornamental collar 1) about the top of the shank, and a hook c of cylindrical outline from base to point projecting directly out of the center and top of said collar, and having a compound curvature, as indicated between 2 and 2 in Fig. 3, particularly, but seen also in other views, and 4 and 4 in Fig. 1 on the segment of a circle, the extremity of the hook lying outside the radius of the collar 1) in plan view, Figs. 1 and 4, and in a plan substantially parallel therewith when viewed in elevation, Figs. 2 and 3, but having a slight dip in its neck, as seen most clearly in Fig. 3.
