DESIGN FOR A TRADE-MARK.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the sama.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LnoMDAs L. COLEMAN, ofthe city of Nashville, county of Davidson, and State of Tennessee, have originated and designed a new Inipression or Picture, to be placed on or attached to an article manufactured by myself, to serve as a label or trademark, to prevent others from counterfeiting the saine; and the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

Figure l is a View of the picture or trade-mark, showing its original features.

A is the nut or fruit represented on the picture, and composed of the colors, as shown thereon.

B are the leaves of the same.

O are the stems or twigs to which the fruit or nut is attached.

D is the background ofthe picture.

E is the lettering of the same.

F and E' are the borders, and represented by the different colors.

H is the background on which the word Cure is Written.

Therefore, what l claim as my invention or design, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design or picture, representing the nut or fruit A, with its leaves B and stems or twigs C, in combination with the lettering E and the borders F and the background D, when executed in such manner as to represent a thc-simile of the original herein set forth.
