3e it known that i, ANTONIO O. PESSANO, of the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design [or Pillow-Blocks, of which the following is a specification.
The accompanying drawings show a pillowblock embodying my design.
Figure 1 is a perspective view looking at one side, and Fig. '2 is a plan view.
A is a fiat base upon which is located a centrally-disposed and longitudinallyarranged box 13, projecting at either end, as at. b b, beyond the ends of the base A, so that the sides of the base A form lateral horizontal flanges a (I.
C is the cover or top of the box B, having its surface transversely arched and slightly curved longitudinally and provided with a central boss 0 and longitudinal side flanges e.
l) I) D D are four vertical column-like extensions from the sides of the box B and its cover or top C, which project outward upon the lateral sides u a of the base A.
The box 13 and its top or cover C are provided with a cylindrical longitudinal opening or passage-way E, extending from end to end.
The side flanges a u of the base A are pro vided with perforations ff, located between the columns D D on each side.
The essential features of the design are the base A, with the longitudinally-arranged and centrally-disposed hollow box B C projecting therefrom at each end, and the four vertical column-like lateral extensions D D from the box B C, projecting laterally upon the side a u of the base A.
\Vhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a pillow-block substantially as described and shown in the accompanying drawings.
