DESIGN FOR A WATER-BAG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,985, dated December 12, 1899.
Application filed November 15,1899. Serial No- 737,130. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, FREDERICK WILLIAM STEPHENSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Hot-Water Bags and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to wetenbags; and it consists in the design for e water-bag, substantially as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying dra wings.
The essential features of the design are the slotted ears or lugs located at opposite sides of the body of the bag, the said ears or lugs being of greater length than breadth, as also are the slots therein, as shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings.
The body of the bag has greater width than depth, and its corners are rounded. At opposite points on the longer sides of the body of the bag are slug having an opening therethrongh and a flaring neck, respectively. Upon the said flaring neck is a flat open band.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a fist side View of a. water-beg embodying my design, and Fig. 2 represents an edge view of the same looking to the left in Fig. 1.
1 indicates the body of the bag, and 2 2 indicate the ears or lugs, provided with elon' gated slots 3 4 indicates the perforated lug at the middle of one longer edge of the body of the bag, and 5 indicates the flaring neck at the opposite side, having the flat open band 6 at one side thereof.
What I claim is- The design for a Water-bag, substantially as herein described and shown in the accompanying drawings.
