UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FLORA STANSFIELD, OF YUMA, COLORADO.
DESIGN FOR A PIE-PRINTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 31,858, dated. November 21, 1899.
Application filed October 30, 1899. Serial No. 735,316. Term of patent 3% years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FLORA STANSFIELD, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Yuma, in the county of Yuma and State of Colorado, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Pie-Printers; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
My invention relates to a design for pieprinting devices; and it consists of the features hereinafter described and claimed, all of which will be fully understood by reference to the accompanying drawings, in which is illustrated an embodiment thereof.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a top view of a pie-printer, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an underneath View, and Fig. 3 a side View, of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my new design consists of a plate A, shaped like the letter S, its printing edge being provided with a series of teeth B and its top with a handle 0. As shown in the drawings, the printing edge of the plate is cut at intervals and the material between the cuts bent to form a series of imprinting teeth or dies adapted to enter the soft dough of the pie previous to baking. The S -shaped plate, with its imprinting-teeth, may be stamped, cast, or made in any other suitable manner without departing from the spirit of the invention.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a pie-printer as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
FLORA STANSFIELD.
Witnesses:
EDWIN STANSFIELD, MAUD STANSFIELD.
