DESIGN FOR A LAMP-CHIMNEY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,250, dated February 21, 1899.
Application filed January 16, 1899- Serial No. 702,372. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, IVILLIAM BUTTLER, of Redkey, in the county of Jay and State of Indiana, have invented a new and original Design for Lamp-Chimneys, of which the following is a full, clear, and exactdesoription, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, which represents in side elevation a lampchimney embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in alamp ehimney havingintermediate of its length an annular outwardly-swelled portion in somewhat the form of a globe, the chimney extending above this swelled portion.
In the drawing, 2 represents the cylindrical body of a chimney, having near its upper end the annular outwardly-swelled portion 3 and extending upwardly from the swelled portion with a reduced diameter in the upper portion 4. I have shown the swelled portion as frosted in the part marked a and the upper portion as provided with a bead or rib 5 and with edge ornamentation 6.
I claim The design for a lamp-chimney, substam tially as herein shown and described.
