NEY, of the town Dracut, county of Middlesex, and State of Massa- Jsetts, have invented and produced a new and orig- ,l Design fora Pattern to be Inwrought into Threer, Ingrain, and other Carpeting, in such colors as t) be desired; and I do hereby declare that the phographic print accompanying this specification docs 'e and convey to any one skilled in the art of cart-weaving a more definite and thorough description the nature of my invention than it is in the power language otherwise to convey, and it is suth'cient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when made by being inwrought into three-ply, ingrain, or other carpeting, in the form similar to the photographic print accompanying this specification.
