DESIGN FOR A CANDLESTICK.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LoUIs O. HILLER, of Wallingford, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Candlestick; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in

Figure 1, a view in front elevation of a candlestick embodying my design; Fig. 2, a side View of the same; Fig. 3, a sectional view on the line a b of Fig. 1 and showing the arrangement of the ornamentation on the base.

This invention relates to an ornamental design for a candlestick; and it consists in the configuration and ornamentation as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustrations.

As herein shown, the design consists of a base A, substantially square, a post B, and head 0, the surface of the base being ornamented by elaborate scrolls D, which meet scrolls E on the post, which extend upward onto the head C, the scrolls on the post forming panels F at the front and back and panels G on opposite sides.

Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
