SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,871, dated April 15, 1902.
Application filed March 20, 1902. Serial No. 99,214. Term of patent 7 years To 0/ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HERBERT E. SHARPs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bridgeport, in the county of Fairlield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Piano-Player Case; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation of a piano-player case, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a front elevation of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my design are the plain and vertically-disposed body, the overhanging roof-like portion, and the columns supporting said roof-like portion at each end and resting upon suitable bases, the whole design when viewed in front elevation giving the appearance of a portico.
1 is the plain body; 2, the roof-like portion; 3, the columns, anddthe bases extending from the lower portion of the body 1, from which bases the columns rise. The bottom of the roof-like portion 2 is in a horizontal plane, as shown at 5, while the top of said portion is bounded by a curved surface 6, the upper portion of said surface extending from the plain horizontal top 70f the case down to the outer edge of the roof-like portion 2.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a piano-player case, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
