DESIGN FOR A TBRRET-RING.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part cf the sam..
To Il whom it may concern:
'Be it known that I, CHARLES HENRY THORNTON, of Newark, in the county of Essex, and State of New Jersey, have originated and designed a new and improved ferret-Ring for harness, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
This invention relates to a new and elegant design for tcrret-rings for harness; and
It. consists in forming the frame of the ring with a rounded or arched top, the sides sloping gradually iuward toward the bottom, which is curvilinear, or in the shape ot' an inverted arch. This lower curve is of less radius than the upper, so that the ring thus constructed presents a unique and graceful appearance to the eye.
A terret-ring, constructed after my design, may be covered with leather', or lined, or not, as the taste of the purchaser may dictate, all oi' which is apparent from the drawing attached 'toaud forming part 0i this specification, which clearly shows my design.
lVhat I claim as niy invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design or pattern for terret-riugs, as herein set forth and shown.
