DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,460, dated December 17, 1901.
Application led September 5,1901. Serial No. 74,467. Term of patent 7 years.
T0 all whom may concern:
Be it known that I, THOMAS I. RANKIN, a citizen of the United States, residing in Phila? delphia, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Heating-Stove, of which the following is a specieation.
My design for aheating-stove is clearly illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which represents the stove in perspective.'
The essential features of the design are the ornamental skirt which surrounds the rechamber of the stove and the ornamentation of the fire-door.
G is the base of the stove, on which is mounted the dre-pot G2, and above the lire-pot is the body-section G', surrnounted by a cap G3.
Extending from the lower portion of the body-section G of the stove is a deep skirt G4. This skirt extends down over the repot., as shown in the drawing. The skirt is ornamented by a number of open-work scrolls divided into sections.
The fire-door g has a name-plate g near the upper end. Directly below the name-plate are three openings g2, and below the openings is a small medallion g3, and on the fire-door is scroll-work ornamentation in keeping with the ornamentation of the rest of the stove.
The cap G3 of the stove is ornamented in keeping with the general design of lthe ornamentation of the stove.
I claim- The design for a heatingstove as herein described, and as illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
