This invention relates to gas-burners, and especially those in which incandescent mantles are used.
In the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, the invention is shown in perspective view.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material features of the design are the verti cally-disposed pipes A, united at their upper ends by the elbow-shaped sections or portions 0 and the T-shaped section or portion P, interposed centrally between the sections 0, and at their lower ends by the elbow-shaped section B, having a vertical cylindrical portion 0 rising centrally therefrom and having a series of slots or openings Q. Depending from the elbow-section B is a cylindrical portion R. Mounted upon the cylindrical portion 0 is a bell-shaped portion D, and also surmounted upon the cylindrical portion 0 and having portions interlocked orinterposed with the pipes A is an enlarged portion or head E, with a series of cylindrical portions F rising vertically therefrom. Rising from a projection L on the elbow-shaped section B is a smaller pipe K, having a bend at its upper end extending over the enlarged portion or head E and toward the center thereof and then extending upwardly above said head a short distance. An annular or ring portion H is mounted upon the depending cylindrical portion R of the elbow-shaped section B, and depending from said portion B is a stem S, having a head N.
What I claim is- The design for a gas-burner substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two Witnesses.
