The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the sama.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, SAMUEL A. BLAKE, of Milford, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Hat, in Imitation of Straw-Braid; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a top view of the hat.
This invention relates to a design for a hat, made of any material in imitation of braid or straw.
The crown A is of a combination of imitation braid.
The brim B is a plain braid, the band C and the edge D representing braid of a different construction, running around the crown at the intersection of the brim, and around the edge of the brim, as shown in the illustration.
