Be it known that I, SAMUEL J. BRIGHTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Fairfield, county of Jelferson, and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stock-Implement Gutter- Block- Head and Handle-Stub Relating to Stock-Marking, Antirooting, and Dehorning Devices; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being made to the accompanya ing drawings, forming a part hereof.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a cutter-block head and handle-stub of my new and original design; Fig. 2, a plan view of the same, and Fig. 3 a view in side elevation of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a head A, havinga pivotal point a, a flatknifeopposing surface I), and a handle-stub B, offset from the plane of the pivot a. The portion of the head at the pivot a and adjacent thereto is provided with flat lateral surfaces at. The portion 1) has converging sides I).
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a stock-implement cutterlolock head and handle-stub herein shownand described.
