DEsleN FOR A RING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,395, dated April 23, 1901. Application filed February 19, 1901. Serial No. 48,019. Term orf patent 7 years.
To a/ZZ whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM F. JUERGnNs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a novel Design for a Ring; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the saine.
My invention relates to a novel design for an einbleinatic ring, the object being to provide a highly-ornamental device of this character; and it consists in the novel features hereinafter fully described and claimed.
In the accompanying drawings, illustrating my invention, Figure lis a top plan View, on an enlarged scale, of a ring made in accordance with my design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of same on a smaller scale.
My design consists in arranging in a circular field two double-headed eagles with outspread wings, the Wings of one eagle overlapping and partially covering the Wings of the other. The eagles are relatively inverted, so that their heads lie, respectively, crown to crown on each side of the center of said circular iield. In the center of said circular iield is a setting for a precious stone. On the breast of each eagle is an inverted triangle. Said eagles are represented as perched upon bars, over each of Which a pennant is looped. Beyond the loop of the pennant on one side is a triangle, and beyond the other pennant is a cross, at the intersection of the arms of which is a rose, and surrounding saine sprays of leaves outside the cross.
The various parts of the design may be worked in Various colors, as desired, the Whole producing a highly-ornamental effect.
I claim as iny invention- The design for a ring,substantially as shown and described.
