To all 'whom 'it may concern Be it known that Llsmonn DREYFUS, of the city, county, and State of New York, have originated a novel Design for the Shells of' Oil-Cups; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specilication, and in which- Fignre 1 represents a view of an oil-cup, provided with a shell formed according to my design, and

Figure 2, a horizontal section oi' the saine.

Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both figures.

This invention relates to that description of oil-cups in which a glass cylinder is contained within a metal shell; and

It consists in anovcl design for sneh shell.

Referring to the accompanying drawings- A is e shell of cylindrical form, and having vertical openings, af, formed in its walls, lengthwise thereof, and parallel with each other.

Said openings e are of' elongated form, having rounded upper and lower extremities, as represented in the drawings` Said cylindrical shell A has a base, B, of polygonal form, and is supported upon a neck, G, as shown.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure hy Letters Patent, is-

'lhe design and configuration of the shell of an oilcnp, substantially as herein described, and represented in the accompanying drawings.
