DESIGN FOR A PICTURE-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,218, dated April 24, 1894. Application filed March 27, 1894. Serial No. 505,346- Term of patent 3% years,
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LOTHAR VoN GRAVE, a subject of the King of Prussia, residing at iVallingford, Connecticut, haveinvented and produced a new and original Design for Picture-Frames, of which the following isaspecification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, wherein the figure shows a. face view of a frame illustrating my design, one-half only of said view being shownin full lines, the other half being shown in outline.
The essential features of my design,which will be hereinafter more fully described,cousist in a central ornamental portion surrounded by a leaf-like openwork portion with chasing thereon, said leaf-like portion having openings extending in from the outer edge between the convolution thereof, and said leaf-like portion extending in substantially pyramidal form at the top of the frame.
Reference being had to the accompanying drawing, a designates the central ornamental portion provided with an opening 00, and b the surrounding openwork, leaf-like portion. Extending in from the outer edge between the convolutions of this leaf-like portion are openings 0. The convolutions or leaf-like portion extends up at the top of the frame into substantially pyramidal form 6.
What I claim is The design for a picture frame, substantially as shown and described.
