DESIGN FOR A COVER-DISH.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,622, dated July 18, 1893.

lie it. known that I, ('HAiimcs EDWARD ll. \\'ll..\\'l a citizen of the ['nited States, re siding at the city of Limoges, in the Republic of France, have invented and produced a new and original l )esign forat'over-Ilish and other Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, and in which Figure l is a side elevation of a dish bearing my design. Fig. '3 is a top view of same, the outline of the upper edge of the body of the dish being shown through the cover by dotted lines, and Fig. 3 a vertical section through one side of the dish on the dotted line 33 of Fig. :3.
The leading feature of my design consists of the ornamental form and configuration of the dish, as hereinafter referred to and shown in the drawings. The riin inclosing the body of the dish is formed of two sections A, I the former being slightly concave along its upper portion and thence extending downward and outward to the line where it meets the lower section I; which curves downward and inward to the ornamental base I), as shown in Figs. land 13. The rim of the body of the dish has at delinito intervals the depressions or grooves lfi which disappear down the lower section ll and subdivide the rim into the scalloped sections l", (l.
