DESIGN FOR A BALLOT-BOX.
SPECFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,797, dated .Tune 2, 1891.
Application filed May 9,1890i Serial No. 35L18Q, Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES PET'IIBONE, n, citizen of the United Sintes, residing' at Avoir dale, in the county of. Coshocton, State of Ohio, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Ballot-Boxes, of which the foilow ing is a full, clear, and exact specification.
The object. of this design is to provide a novel and distinguishing ballot-box; and the leading features thereof consist in a, ballotbox formed to represent a human skull heving n line of demnrkation extending continuously round the crown portion and provided with au ornamental gripdmndle extending rearwardly from the back of the skull.
The design is illustrated by tile accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is n front eievation of the lmllotbox, and Fig. 2 is a central vertical section of the seme.
In the drawings, (he leiter A indicaies the front or Vface of the sknll-slniped box; B, ille crown; C, the lower jaw projected forward; I), the line of demm'kntion extending continuously round the crown portion and across the frontal bone, and E n projection at the back of the skull-shaped box. An ornamental gripliandle F projects rearwardly from the back of the skull at e. point below the line of demerkntion.
The design provides n, peculiar, ornamental, and distinguishing lia-llebliox.
The design for a ballobbox, substantially as shown and described.
