DESIGN FOR A SPECTACLE-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,696, dated November 22, 1898.
Application filed October 18, 1898. Serial No. 693,932- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JOHN CASEY and MUR- RAY S. CHISM, citizens of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Spectacle-Case, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of our design fora spectacle-case is a body having one of its sides lower than the other and a bottom which extends from side to side in an inclined direction.
Figure 1 represents a perspective View of a spectacle-case embodying our design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line a: 00,Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings, A designates the body of the case, and B the lid thereof, the
latter being flat. The bodyA consists of the sides 0 C, the ends D, and the bottom E, one of said sides being lower than the other, and said bottom extending in inclined direction from side to side.
In the use of the term spectacle we include eyeglasses and similar optical appliances.
Having thus described our invention,what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a spectacle-case substantially as described and shown.
