Description

DESIGN.
W. H. GURTIGE.
FLOUR TANK.
I Patented May 24, 1898.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
WILLIAM H. CURTICE, OF LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY.
DESIGN FOR A FLOUR-TANK.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. CUETIOE, a
- citizen of the United States, residing at Louisville, in the county of Jefferson and State of Kentucky, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Flour-Tank; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
My invention relates to a design for a flourtank; and it consists in the configuration of the tank, substantially as illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
The figure in the drawing hereunto annexed is a perspective view of the flour-tank embodying my design.
The essential features of my design are contained in the following description:
The circular base which supports the rectangular case has vertical parallel sides, a
vertical front and back, the upper portions of which converge to the horizontal top, upon which rests the inverted conical hopper, upon which appear a horizontal series of parallel duplex rings. A horizontal open cylindrical sleeve with a notch in its upper edge projects laterally from the lowermost conical section of the hopper. A crescent-shaped rail appears on the circular base on the side of the rectangular case.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is
The design for a flour-tank, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
WILLIAM H. OURTICE.
Witnesses:
L. W. PULIEs, E. P. BITZER.
