Description

OF D 690 2 67 DESIGN.
P. O. PARWELL.
FRAME FOR SAND PRESSES.
Invenflior H1 0 twig.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FAY O. FARW'ELL, OF DUBUQUE, IOlVA, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO THE ADAMS COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A FRAME FOR SAND-PRESSES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,067, dated December 21, 1897.
Application filed July 26,1897. Serial No. 646,042. Term of patent 14 years.
To a, whom it may concern.-
lfle it known that I, FAY O. FAR\\'ELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dubuque, in the county of Dubuque and State of Iowa, have invented a certain new and original Design for Frames for Sand-Presses; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and close description thereof.
My invention has relation to designs in frames for sand-presses; and it essentially consists in a bar with arms projecting from both sides thereof and at right angles thereto, forming a table.
It further consists in two bifurcated legs or supports, which support the table.
For the better understanding of the novelty of my design reference is had to the following specification and to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof, and in which- Figure 1 is a perspective of my design; Fig. 2, an end view of the same, and Fig. 3 a top or plan view thereof.
Like letters of reference denote corresponding parts in all of the drawings.
Referring to the drawings, A designates an inverted- U -shaped bar having arms a projecting from both sides of said bar and parallel to each other, forming a table. The table is mounted on the top of two bifurcated legs B. The legs B are divided at 6, having branches F.
It will readily be seen that this design with the branching legs will appear to set firmly upon the ground and without tendency to tip over.
Having now described my design, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-
A design for a frame for sand-presses as described and shown in the drawings.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
FAY O. FARWELL.
Witnesses:
M. M. CADY, J. P. FRANTZEN.
