UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FRANK L. WRIGHT, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, ASSIGNOR TO THE LUXFER PRISM PATENTS COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESiGN FOR A PRISM-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 27,997, dated December '7, 1897.
Application filed October 23, 1897. Serial No. 856,224- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK L. VVRIGH'I, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cilicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to designs for prismplates.
Figure 1 is a plan View of a prism-plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a section there through.
A is the body of the prism-plate.
B I3 are a series of surface areas, substantially uniform in appearance and produced by the lines of separation C C, which cross the surface of the body of the plate. D D are prisms on the opposite side.
Upon the surface of the prism-plate and intermediate between its center and outer edge a group of areas forming a hollow square are ornamented by means of the lines E E. These lines are produced on the surface of the prism-plate.
The essential features of my design are found in a prism-plate consisting of a substantially flat body with a series of prisms on one side and lines of separation on the other which divide the surface into a series of substantially uniform surface areas and a hollow square formed on the surface intermediate between the center and the outer edge by means of lines of ornamentation.
I claim- A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
FRANK L. \VRIGII'I.
