My design consists of a stud or button having a cylindrical shank and an enlarged head, the central portion of which is sunken, shal- 10W, conical, and lustrous, and which is surrounded by an outer portion having a relatively dnll or deadened appearance, and which joins the outwardly-sloping sides of the conical central portion, has a circular periphery, and extends on its under side toward the shank.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a front elevation of a stud or button containing my design mounted on a plate or base. Fig. 2 shows a perspective view thereof.
B indicates the central shallow sunken portion, and A indicates the annular surrounding portion. The depression b is somewhat conical. Thc drawings show a flat ring b left at the edge of the central portion B, Where it joins the annular portion A.
The essential feature of my design is a stud or button having a cylindrical shank and an enlarged head, the central portion of which is sunken, shallow, conical, and lustrous, and which is surrounded by an outer portion having a relatively dull or deadened appearance and which joins the outwardly-sloping sides of the conical central portion, has a circular periphery, and extends on its under side to- Ward the shank.
