GEORGE EDWARD WALDEOK, OF JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A TRAY OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,714, dated October 12, 1897.
Application filed April 5, 1897. erial No. 630,861. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE EDW'ARD WAL- DECK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Jersey City, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented and pro duced a new and original Design for a Tray or Similar Article; and I do declare the follow ing to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
The leading features of my design consist in the shape and configuration of the tray, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings, said tray comprising a horizontal bottom, apolygonal exterior vertical rim and a centrally disposed elongated receptacle Whose exterior rim substantially conforms to the main vertical rim of the tray, and which receptacle contains receiving-grooves separated by partitions, as shown.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a top view of a tray embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a central vertical section of same on the dotted line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The exterior polygonal rim of the tray is illdicated in the drawings by the letter D, the bottom of the tray by the letter E, and the rim of the centrally-disposed receptacle by the letter F. WVithin the said centrally-disposed receptacle are the receiving grooves or portions G, separated from one another by partitions H.
WVhat I claim is The design for a tray or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
