DESIGN FOR A SINK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,507, dated August 10, 1897.
Application filed July 2, 1897. Serial No. 643,298. Term of patent 14 years.
To 0% who/it it Hui/y concern.-
Be it known that 1, ROBERT M. J'oHNsoN, a citizen of the United States, residin g at Hainesport, in the county of Burlington and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Sink, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective View of a sink-embodying the features of my design, and Fig. 2 is a longitudinal vertical section taken substantially on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The sink embraces a bottom A, sides 11, and end portions 10; butthe leading feature of the design consists in a horizontal corner bottom 12, extending from one side to the adjacent end, and a vertically-disposed partition 13, which apparently connects the upper horizontal bottom 12 with the main bottom A. This partition 13 is represented as extending above the upper bottom 12, fOlIlling a flange 14, in which an opening 15 is shown, the bottom whereof is seemingly in the same plane as the upper surface of the upper-bottom portion 12 of the sink.
The design in its entirety is a corner pocket in a sink, the front whereof is semicircular or segmental. The contour of the bottom portion of the sink at the end where the pocket is shown is vertically of angular shape, and apparently a recess is formed below the aforesaid upper bottom 12.
I claim- The design for a sink, herein shown and described.
