DESIGN FOR A HORSESHOE-CALK.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,429, dated July 27', 1897. Application filed April 26, 1897. Serial No) 634,044. Term of patent 7 years.

Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Horsesl1oe-Oalks and I do hereby declare the following to be afull, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Myinvention relates to a design for a horseshoe-calk, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure shown represents a perspective view of my design.

The leading or essential features of my design oonsist of the calk 1, having the upper and lower parallel plates 2 3 formed with the orifices 4 and bolt 5, said plates being connected at one end of the yoke 6. The bar 7 extends transversely of the said parallel plates and parallelwith the yoke 6 and has its sides converging to a V-point from its upper rectangular end to its lower end,as shown.

The several portions of the calk may be engraved, chased, orotherwise ornamented, as desired.
