DESIGN FOR AN OIL-CAN.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,946, dated August 18, 1896.

Application filed July 20,1896. Serial No. 599,975. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, FREDERICK S. CHASE, of WVaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Oil-Cans and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear,

and exact description of the same, and which tions or hands extending throughout its main portion. The upper end of the said body has a circumferential beveled band B, above which is a tapering radially-corrugated neck C, the

contracted upper end of which is overhung 25 by the spout-flange D, which receives the cylindrical spout-cap E, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.

The design for an oil-can as shown in the go accompanying illustration and herein described.
