DESIGN FOR A GONG-STRIKER CAP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,881, dated August 4, 1896.

Application filed June 20,1896. Serial No. 596,345. Term of patent 3% years.

Be it known that I, JAMES MUNDELL, a citizen of the United States, rcsidingat the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for GongStriker Caps, of which the following is a specification.

In the drawings forming part of this specification, Figure l is a side elevation; Fig. 2, a plan view; Fig. 3, a sectional elevation, and Fig. 4 a bottom view.

The essential feature of the design consists in the configuration, substantially as herein shown and described.

The cap consists of a dish-shaped body, circular in plan, as shown in Fig. 53, comprising a curved crown 1, an annular flange 2, de-

pending from the edges of the crown, and an annular and inwardlv-extending flange 3, in the center of which is formed a circular hole 4:. 0n the top of the crown is disposed a series of conical teats 5, arranged near the center of the crown and concentric with the pcriphery thereof.
