DESIGN FOR A BADGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,688, dated June 30, 1896.
Application filed March 26, 1896. Serial No. 585,023. Term of patent 3! years.
To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, HENRY DOTZENROTH, a resident of Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact descriplieu thereof, reference being had to the aceompanying drawing, in which the figure shown shows a plan or face View of my design for badges.
My design for a badge consists in a heraldicshield, upon the surface of which is a lyre, while running back of the lyre, at an angle, is a clarinet. Running across, at an angle, in front of one side of the lyre and under the opposite side thereof, is a flowing band having overlying ends. A branch or wreathing is run around on either side of the lyre, clarinet, and band.
The design, as set forth and. ill usi rated in the drawing, is held suspended by a link to an upper flowing baud having overlyingonds, the upper and lower central portion of which baud being embellished with scroll ornamentation.
Vhat I claim is- The design for a badge, substantially as herein shown and described.
