SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,617, dated J' une 9, 1896.
Application tiled April l, 1896. Serial No. 585,824. Term of patent 14 years.
To MZ whom it muy concern:
Be it known that I, ALFRED GASKILL, a einizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a eertain Design for a Jar, of which the following is a specification.
My design for a jar is f ully shown in the aeeompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 represents a side View of the jar 5 Fig. E2, a sectional View of the saine; and Fig. 3, a sectional plan View on the line 3 3, Fig. Q.
The jar comprises two parts-namely, the body A and the top or cap B, the jar being of cylindrical form and having surface ornamentation of a Character clearly shown in the drawings. The bodyhas at the base a projectin g ring or rib (l with beveled upper and lower edges and a plain cylindrical upper poriion b with beveled lower edge. Between the basering d and Jolie upper ring Z1 of the body are a series of parallel and contiguous bands 7, each composed of a series of adjoining projecting ornaments in the form of truncated pyramids g and half-pyraniids I'.
I claim- The design for a jar-body A, substantially as described and shown in the drawings.
