TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, HENRY D. MUSSELMAN, of the city of Lancaster, in the State of Pennsylvania, lin-ve originated and designed a. new pattern for Frying-Pans, of which the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification, show a. perspective view by Figure 1; Figure 2 being a hirdseye view or plan of' the somo. and of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the drawings aforesaid.

The pan is cast from the pattern of my design in the ordinary manner. A shows the handle, B the spout of the pan C. Around the bottom, on the inside, is a. groove, E, and a central groove, D, from the handle. At right. angles to this central groove the bottom is iuted or covered with a series of parallel grooves or channels, as shown. These channels are deep and rounded, producing narrow and smooth ridges. These parallel grooves all open, both into-the central cross-channel D and the groove E, along the circumference of the bottom on the inside.
