PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR- AN ELASTIC CORDED KNITTED FABRIC To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Louis Young, a citizen of the United States and resident of the Bronx, New York, in the county of Bronx and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Elastic Corded Knitted Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and of which Figure 1 is a plan View of an elastic corded knitted fabrio showing my new design, Fig. 2 is a similar enlarged view thereof, Fig. 3 is a plan view thereof showing the fabric in stretched position, Fig. 4 is an enlarged view thereof, and Figs. 5 and 6 are sectional views taken approximately on the lines 5-5 and 66, respectively, of Fig. 4.

The characteristic features of the design reside in the elastic corded knitted fabric having rib-s continuously in contact with each other and being spaced in the stretched position of the fabric to disclose an intervening open mesh fabric at the base of the ribs forming between each pair of ribs a continuous thickened Z resulting in triangular openings along the sides of the ribs and providing wedge shaped portions pointed toward the opposite ribs.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an elastic corded knitted fabric, substantially as shown and described.
