DESIGN FOR A LAMP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,204, dated March 29, 1881, Application filed November 4, 1879. Term of patent 7 years.

-ta ncc, laterally, from the oil-reservoir, and connected therewith by a supply-tube; and it con sists in a design embodying, in a lamp of that class, an ornamental brace extending in a horizontal direction from the wick-tube to the oilrescrvoir and substantially parallel with the supply-tube, and curved at its junction with the reservoir.

In the drawings are illustrated three modifications of my design, and in the same A is the oil-reservoir; B, the Wick-tube; G, the supply-tube; D, the supporting tube or rod; E, the

brace, curved at F, and attached at c to the reservoir. The curve may be either upward and over, as shown in Figure 1, or upward and under, as shown in Fig. 2, or simply under, as in Fig. 3, the efl'ect being in all three substantially the same.

What I claim is- The design for lamp herein described, con sisting of the reservoir A and wick-tube B, connected by the feedtube O and brace E, the latter being curved, as at F, and substantially parallel to the supply-tube, as set forth.
