DESIGN FOR A FLOWER-STAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,702, dated October 23, 1888.
Application filed September-22.1888. Serial No. 286.126. Term of Patent 35 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that l, LEWIS J. MURRAY, of Birmingham, England, have originated and produced a new and original Design for a Flower Stand or Holder, of which the following is a specification.
My design consists in making an upright tube in the form of a trunk of a plant, in providing the base thereof with representation of leaves or the like, and in providing the upper end with a flangelike projection made in the form of leaves of a plant.
The accompanying drawing is a perspective view of a flower stand or holder embodying my design.
A designates an upwardly-extending tube or receptacle. It is made to represent the trunk of a plant. At the base the stand or holder is embellished with representations, B, of leaves or like devices. At the upper end there is a 20 flangelike projection, 0, made to represent leaves of a plant.
The design as illustrated is specially adapted to represent a palnrtree.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by 25 Letters Patent, is-
A design for a flower stand or holder, consisting of a tube made in the form of a trunk of a. plant, a base made to represent leaves or like devices, and an outwardly extending o flange at the upper end, made to represent leaves of a plant, substantially as shown and described.
