UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE FOUNTAIN PEN OR SIMILAR ARTICLE David Kahn, Englewood, N. J assignor to David Kahn, Inc., North Bergen, N. J., a corporation of New Jersey To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, David Kahn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Englewood, in the county of Bergen and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Fountain Pen or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, wherein- Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of the fountain pen embodying my new design with the cap member in place and covering the writing end of the fountain pen;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational view of the fountain pen with the cap in place on the upper portion of the fountain pen barrel;

Fig. 3 is a top plan view of the fountain pen; and

Fig. 4 is a bottom plan view of the fountain pen.

The essential features of my design for a fountain pen or similar article reside in its overall appearance as illustrated in Fig. 2 of the drawing, including a series of distinct sections of different diameters in combination with a wide band member, the greater portion of which is disposed under the clip of the fountain pen or similar article, said wide band contrasting in color with the color of the upper portion of the cap and the barrel, certain of the sections of different diameters being disposed below the band member.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a fountain pen or similar article, substantially as shown and disscribed.
