Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Philip R. Horwitch, a citizen of the United States, residing in Leominster, in the county of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pencil, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which Figure l is a front elevational view of a pencil, showing my new design;

Figure 2 is a side elevational view;

Figure 3 is a top plan view; and,

Figure 4 is a view from the writing end thereof.

My design for a pencil is characterized by a transparent mid-section which is square in cross section as may be seen in Figures 3 and 4.

I claim: The ornamental design for a pencil, as shown and described.
